On July 31st, Kangheng International and Super Earth Energy Co., Ltd of Thailand successfully finished constructing Super Earth Energy 1 Co., Ltd (referred to as "SEE1") in Thailand. The share transfer ceremony marked SEE1 officially becoming a subsidiary of Kangheng International. SEE1 holds the rights to a waste incineration project in Nonthaburi Province near Bangkok. This acquisition makes it Kangheng Environment's first fully-owned project in Thailand.
The project has a capacity to process 1,000 tons per day and has a 20MW installed capacity. Once operational, it will process 365,000 tons annually, easing waste treatment in Nonthaburi Province and providing clean electricity to the National Electricity Authority of Thailand. It is expected to generate 152 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually.
As Kangheng Environment makes strides in the global market, the company is also focusing on the domestic waste incineration power generation sector. In the current year, Kangheng Environment has secured numerous projects related to waste-to-energy. Based on industry data, Kangheng Environment has successfully bid for around 16 projects since 2024. These projects are spread across 14 provinces in China. The largest project won this year is the Yunan Cycle Thermal Power Generation Project (Phase I) Waste Incineration System Combination Procurement Project, with a winning bid of 121.83 million yuan. Notably, bids for the technology enhancement and upgrade project for the waste incineration power generation facility in Baqiao District, Xi'an City, and the flue gas purification system upgrade project for the 1# and 2# waste incineration production lines of Hebei Shijiazhuang City Jiyue Biomass Power Generation Co., Ltd. have both exceeded 10 million yuan.
